The Gaelic Athletic Association is the national body that represents Gaelic games in Ireland. These include Gaelic Football, Handball and of course Hurling which is said to be fastest field sport in the world. There is a also a female variation of Hurling called Camogie which equally is not for the faint hearted.

So successful has the GAA been since its founding in 1884, that it is now the largest amateur sporting organisation in the world. The flag ship stadium in Dublin - Croke Park, is one of the largest stadiums in Europe with a capacity of other 80,000.
