The Port of Cork is the largest docklands in the south of Ireland and has invested over 80 million into improving its facilities over the past few years. It is one of the main ports in Ireland and caters for all shipping modes. Cork Harbour itself is a vast body of water and is the second largest natural deepwater port in the world after Port Jackson in Sydney Australia. The Port of Cork is ideally positioned for additional European trading as well as for yet unexploited direct deep sea shipping services.

The Port’s growing reputation for quality service, including prompt and efficient vessel turnaround, ensures its position as a vital link in the global supply chain. The Port accommodated approx 83,000 visitors through its cruise ship facility in Ringaskiddy last year.

The Port of Cork is working to improve its role as a strategic authority. It has established strong and productive links with the European Commission and with other port authorities around the world.
